Install Marvell driver
Hello

I have downloaded and unzipped the folder from the following page, but
how do I install the driver?
http://tinyurl.com/2eyycxk

I have Windows Vista 32 bit. It is a desktop PC.

There are two folders: Floppy32 and Floppy64
I expect that I will use what lies in Floppy32 -
when my Vista is 32 bit?
But how do I install?

Picture of files in Floppy32 directory:

Picture of mainboard information:

Let me know if you need more info ;-)

Kind regards,
Martin

RE: Install Marvell driver
Hi Martin,

drivers that come in raw form, ie. without installer, must be installed manually through Windows built-in functions:

1. Right-click the 'My computer' icon on your Desktop and select 'Properties'.
2. Click the 'Hardware' tab and then click 'Device Manager'.
3. Find and double-click the existing driver name in the list - Marvell shall be part of the name, I'm sorry I don't know what this driver is for.
4. Click the 'Driver' tab and then click the 'Update driver? button to open the 'Hardware Update' Wizard.
5. Click 'No, not this time' and then click 'Next'.
6. Click 'Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)' and then click 'Next'.
7. Click 'Include this location in the search'.
8. Click the 'Browse' button and select the folder containing the extracted driver files, then click 'Next'. Windows automatically finds a suitable drivers file to install.

If it's not an update but new installation you can use Add Hardware in Control Panels in Windows.

RE: Install Marvell driver
Hello

Thank you very much for your guide.
Maybe I will give it a try.

Do you know, what the driver (update) is for?
Is it used together with BIOS or ...?
