Of course, good old MS (WXP Pro) wants to locate and install new drivers automatically. Therein lies the problem. I direct the MS Wizzard to the download file but it seems to ignore the file located there.

I find the area where the Update Device driver is located but cannot find the area where MS Kernel DRM* is located

The two files are:
MICROSOFT KERNEL DRM AUDIO DESCRAMBLER 843 KB 21.04.2011

MICROCODE UPDATE DEVICE 454 KB 09.04.2011

Any help will be appreciated.

I've searched HP but could something else be wrong, other than a driver? The repairment zapped the printer with some hand-held device and it works beautifully, prints a page so fast! I'd hate to have to uninstall it to install an HP FULL Feature version, just for the

I'm a new user of DD Pro and so far most (but not all) drivers seem to have installed smoothly. However, there are a few remaining that need to be installed manually. It isn't completely clear which device these particular updates apply to, or how and where to place the files if my attempt to update from the device manager (as I understand it) rejects the downloaded files.

The zip files I need help with are:
- Microcode Update Device,
- Microsoft TV/Video connection,
- Microsoft Kernel DRM Audio Descrambler.

For a moment I even hoped it'd let me see *exactly* what info was being sent (the kind of privacy delight that would've made me sing its praises from the rooftops!), but it turned out to be sending unintelligible binary data. Still, pretty darn cool anyway, and I can always hope for plaintext-over-https version in the future.

So I clicked "Yes", and the web page that was generated had a "Show my drivers" button that sent me to "http://drivers.devicedoctor.com/show_exporter_drivers/v1/".

But that page is currently 404.

So far, my review of different driver checking programs has shows DD to be the best on paper, apart from the fact that it's completely non-functional.]]>
